Aboriginal Spirituality has no Founder. It was made up from Myths and Beliefs from a long time ago. Aboriginal people believe in animism, also believe that Aboriginal Spirituality is polytheistic and not monotheistic, meaning they believe in many Gods.
This religion origin is believed in a story from long time ago. Turtle Island is a story that came from the people of the Northeast Woodlands. They believed after a great flood, water covered the earth. Water animals and birds tried to bring some mud to the surface of the water. A muskrat succeeded. Sky women spread the mud on the back of the turtle and created Turtle Island, known as North America.
They have no religious leaders, but then got some sort of leaders that preach about their religion and beliefs. They are called Elders. Elder a person that is older and is known as a spiritual and cultural leader, and who has knowledge of traditions.
